Job Responsibilities
- Oversees order launch process, including the development of new product, observe bill of materials, and item masters. Supervises employees in design drafting function of tooling and equipment.
- In conjunction with Engineering and APS simplifies and consolidates engineering standards, active part numbers, and work instruction.
- Do and update manufacturing plant layout and update incoming for any new product and new production line., also support plant layout for any change included office, warehouse and quality department area.
- Develops and maintains an organized system of part numbers. Eliminates duplicate or obsolete tooling and equipment, Performs data analysis.
- Plans and establishes engineering schedules and follows up on actual performance against estimates.
- Investigates service and applications engineering problems, documenting details and related solutions accordingly.
- Applies systems engineering techniques to automated, improve, and/or re-engineer all aspects of the engineering.
- Supervises the development of plant equipment and design standards.
- Performs office management function of production engineering department. Prepares and manages department and project budgets.
- May perform related functions such as providing engineering expertise to other departments. Continues to develop personal engineering skills and knowledge related to the fields of materials, mechanics, automatics PLC computerize, etc.
- Supports Manufacturing process specification (MPS)
- Supports the company Vision through active participation. Responsible for identifying problems, finding solutions; working to implement positive Change.
- Perform tooling and equipment development such as yield improvement and productivity to achieve the target.
- Support plant lay out for any change and new product transfer to VNQN that included budget preparation and cost control.
- · Knowledge for IATF TS16949, ISO 14001 system and implementation.
Experience requirements
- Plus 1-3 years manufacturing experience is required.
- With experience in systems engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering preferably in the Automotives industry.
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electronic/ electrical /instrument engineer or equivalent
