Procurement Manager (Sofa / Upholstery)

Job summary

Our client is a furniture company renowned for its high-quality leather sofas, armchairs, and home furnishings.

Job Responsibilities

·        Develops new sourcing plan and have a purchasing strategy to ensure enough materials, packaging, in time service as business requirements

·        Materials Delivery to Operations: monitor the ordering, receipt and delivery of materials to Production and provide guidance where necessary

·        Controls review status material return to vendor and material pending (not have decision to action)

·        Control purchase price variance (PPV): Controls PPV to avoid over standard cost, and lost benefit

·        Checks quotation and negotiate with supplier to get the best price and review contract

·        Controls PO: ensure PR must have PO on time and enough quantity, correct price

·        Meet the company KPIs in term of cost, delivery time & quality.

Experience requirements

·        5+ years of experience in direct procurement for upholstery items such as foam, comfort fiber filling, metal parts, wooden parts... with a proven track record of cost-saving.

·        KPI-driven in term of cost, delivery time & quality.

·        Fluent in English and Vietnamese communication skills.

·        Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education requirements

 Education required: University graduated or above.
