Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing project scope, budget, timeline, requirements, monitoring and communicating risk and change, problem solving, identifying opportunities and troubleshooting when problems arise.
  • Manage the Jira project board, groom backlog, assign tasks and create burn down charts and prepare related reports to manage time and deliverables.
  • Ensure the project team has a clear task list and is meeting project deliverables.
  • Oversee incoming client requests via phone and email, and assign to members of the team as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with both clients and project teams, taking full accountability for updates throughout the project life cycle.
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, taking a proactive approach to resolving any challenges that occur.
  • Working with the Managing Director to create and implement process improvements and put action items into motion.
  • Encourage collaboration and lead process improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time-to-time by the Managing Director

Experience requirements

Education requirements

  • Web development, design, marketing, communication, computer science or applied science education.
  • 3+ years experience successfully delivering projects in a project or client management role, preferably within a digital media environment using Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Proven experience planning projects and managing budgets.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of web development processes.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (i.e. WordPress, Sitefinity Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Effective time management skills and multitasking capabilities to get things done in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and quality control.
  • Knowledge of website usability, conversion optimization, analytics, email marketing and search engine optimization is not required but an asset.
