Job summary

Our client, a company specializing in manufacture of paints, hiring a potential candidate for the ASEAN – Digital Marketing Manager.

Job Responsibilities

A. Building regional and co-developing country digital marketing and e commerce strategy

  • Leading and driving the development of the regional digital strategy to support the delivery of business and marketing objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media - SEO, ASO, Paid Search, Paid Social, ABM, email marketing, Social Media community management, programmatic display marketing, DCO, Community Marketing and Influencer Marketing - to provide the guidance for country to execute the digital marketing campaigns.
  • Working with Country Digital and Ecommerce Manager to develop annual digital plan including digital channel optimization, digital campaigns, new initiatives, budget planning.

B. Partnering with global digital teams to develop the new digital initiatives

  • Understand ASEAN markets’ consumer/customer and shopper insights across region that will serve as strong anchor for developing the new digital initiatives for region.
  • Together with Insights and Country Digital and Ecommerce Manager to identify emerging media consumption and consumer engagement trends, share learnings and recommend actions on digital plan.
  • Ensure continuous optimization and improvement on media ROAS across all channels.
  • Managing and working with stakeholders related to IT, Risk and Group and users on regulatory and internal due diligence, users testing and remediation requirements relating to digital platforms.

C. Planning, developing and enhancing the Digital Marketing App and online shopping experience

  • Execute app development projects smoothly with internal team and external digital agencies to make sure on time and high quality.
  • Develop the standard Dulux e-shop for region. Join discussion with country team on consumer engagement programs through CRM activities in collaboration with the global framework and guidelines.

D. Building relationship and manage digital media partner agencies

  • Determine range of services needed from partner agencies in supporting digital marketing.
  • Build digital media agencies criteria framework including selection criteria, work scoping, performance evaluation and management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of services engaged.
  • Periodic review and monitoring of service delivery of service provider to ensure optimal cost ratio and service is given by partner agencies.
  • Provide inputs in the annual evaluation of partner agencies.
  • Build strong partnership with leading tech ecosystems – e.g FB, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn.

E. Establishing efficient processes and educational resources

  • Guide and train the marketer and country digital team on digital tools, media plan, deciding ads content, budget allocation.
  • Set KPIs for measurement and develop the digital marketing dashboard.

Experience requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably regional digital leadership positions in MNC or global agency with proven team management and ability to motivate team.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of digital & social media and content marketing, mobile marketing, CRM, e-commerce, martech ecosystems and digital media plan.
  • Understanding of consumer journey and customer experience/touchpoints along journey.
  • Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills, with experience in using advanced analytics methodologies (e.g. MMM) and DMP (data management platform) and consumer research/insights to elevate media performance.
  • Media integration modules in Adobe stacks.
  • Strong knowledge of Google, FB and TikTok, LinkedIn ecosystem, including backend platforms - e.g. FB Business Manager, Google Keyword Planner.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Marketing: WhatsApp, Line and Zalo ecosystem preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of media products and respective buying model of ecommerce platforms like Amazon, Lazada and Shopee, Tokopedia. Ability to drive end-to-end marketing plans and media ecosystems to meet business objectives.
  • Strategic thinker, critical thinker, innovator with growth mindset.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must and post-graduation in business/management would be a plus.
