Adecco's client is an international company in Automotive industry, looking for an Accounting Manager in HCMC

Job Responsibilities

General review

• Closing Review and Zero surprised prepared consistently with Group standards. Standard General Review process (actors’ involvement and coordination with CESP Company Leader) in place to guarantee Financial statements economical consistency and facilitate Region/Country F manager accounts validation.
• Compliance of GL entries with local and Group norms and standard processes
• Accounts substantiation before reviewers, internal and external auditors and internal controllers
• Financial statements in local norms validated, formatted and submitted to local authorities following country deadlines.
• Financial statements in local norms certification by legal auditors. In case of regulatory or tax controls, provide and explain accounting data. Quality and accounting compliance of data produced for the preparation of tax returns.
• Rules to transform Group accounts into local norms defined, validated and updated following regulatory modifications and company activities evolutions

Operations:

• Expected downstream data quality level, closing deadlines are reached and standards are applied (by local data suppliers – especially by SP department).
• Prepare, make and record accounting entries in accordance with pre-established deadlines as well as Group and local rules 
• Support annual budget process
• Check and analyze accounts in accordance with accounting quality standards and make substantiated accounts available to internal customers
• Make available to consolidation team corporate balance sheet and income statement in Group format, together with an explanation of flows and consistency checks, validated by accounts review manager or company's General Accounting Manager, in accordance with Group timetable, rules and instructions.
• Propose in accordance with Group standards simplifications and improvements serving to optimize the processes he/she deals with 
• Perform self-assessments within his/her remit in accordance with internal controller's instructions and on schedule

Experience requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in the similar job responsibilities in multi national environment (MNC).
• Obtaining certificate in accounting or chief accounting is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and provide depth analysis to support company decision
• Good understanding and interpreting Vietnamese tax laws & accounting regulations.
• Autonomous, open-minded and flexible
• Sharp-minded, detailed, precise and good numeracy
• Excellent in communication and presentation skill in English

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics
