Job Responsibilities

• Keeps up regulatory adherence to government health and safety regulations.
• Meets the requirements outlined in the relevant regulations.
• Carries out regular facility inspections to make sure they abide by company and governmental laws.
• Creates reports that outline possible hazards and/or departmental inconsistencies and offer suggestions for control and compliance, which are then submitted to managers and supervisors.
• Gives management, supervisors, and staff advice on safe work procedures and any risks.
• Oversees and supports plant staff with matters pertaining to health and safety.
• Looks into and fixes health and safety concerns involving employees.
• Effective training is implemented to help line and staff management comprehend safety requirements and procedures.
• Makes certain that emergency response procedures and fire safety equipment are properly maintained and inspected.

Experience requirements

• 5 years in a similar sector, such as health and safety
• Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• CPR and first aid
• Capabilities and Skills
• Application of government health and safety regulations expertise
• Good managerial abilities
• Strong proficiency with PC software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Outstanding ability to present.
• Demonstrated aptitude for handling several priorities.
• Capacity to interact with individuals at all organizational levels in an efficient manner Displayed organizational abilities.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.

Education requirements

• Degree in Health and Safety or related applied science field.
