O&M Engineer (Level: Supervisor)

Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to oversee and analyze all Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities related to our operational assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractors and stakeholders, including O&M contractors, 3rd party consultants, EVN, and Government Local Authorities. The role involves continuous improvement initiatives for optimizing O&M processes and enhancing overall asset performance.

Job Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Manage and analyze all Operation and Maintenance activities for operational assets including solar farms and wind farms and other renewable business.
• Supervise contractors and stakeholders, including O&M contractors, 3rd party consultants and Local Authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in operating all assets, focusing on O&M processes.
• Improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Availability, and Reliability of power plants.
• Initiate & plan improvement project implementation for operational excellence and cost reduction.
• Analyze asset performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Provide technical and engineering knowledge for effective operation and maintenance.
• Support construction projects and M&A projects through site visits, technical reviews, and information provision.
• Conduct operating risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Control and manage operating costs.
• Oversee contract and warranty management.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Experience requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Power engineering or equivalence.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
• Knowledge and experience in operations and maintenance in solar farm and wind farm.
• Good command of spoken & written Vietnamese, English.
• Good computer skills as well as Microsoft office, experience in SAP or Maximo is a plus.
• Good communication, service mind and interpersonal skill, proactive.
• Skills in problem solving, negotiation, and influence.
• Able to travel within Vietnam
