Procurement Executive

Job summary

An excellent Procurement Executive job based in Ho Chi Minh City has just arisen at one of the world's leading manufacturing companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing new suppliers for reducing delivery lead-time and potentially reducing purchasing cost.
• Managing new supplier survey and evaluation to support for boarding new supplier from time to time.
• Finding new materials/ suppliers needed for new collection/ SKUs, in order to keep development lead-time and launch day.
• Follow-up the quality and cost reduction objective related to action plan/productivity program
• Relationship management with vendors
• Ensuring all suppliers strictly follow corporate procurement procedure, aligned with custom regulations and company policies.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Experience requirements

• At least 5+ years working experience in direct procurement within electronics/electrical industry.
• Fluent in English & Vietnamese communication & written skills
• Expert in supplier management in term of cost, delivery time, operations…; supplier sourcing & negotiation
• Able to work independently & solve problem sharply
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work in an unstructured or matrix environment
• Continuous improvement mentality; strong problem-solving skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks / projects

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and upper in Procurement, Supply Chain or related field
