Job summary

One of the largest pharmaceuticals firm in APAC region is seeking candidates for Product Manager role who will create strategies, lead and manage product marketing activities and sales performance to achieve objectives (target, P&L) nationwide.

Job Responsibilities

1. Annual Marketing Plan Preparation:

  • Develop an annual marketing plan for the assigned product.
  • The plan should include an annual forecast, promotional budget, and strategies for each product under the job responsibility.

2. Achieving Sales Goals:

  • Work towards achieving the annual sales budget while staying within the approved promotional expenses budget.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional activities that support the sales objectives.

3. Promotional Activities Implementation:

  • Execute promotional activities according to the plan and within the agreed-upon time frame.
  • Work with the BU Head to determine adequate inventory levels for each product.

4. Training and Assessment:

  • Train medical representatives on product knowledge to ensure they are effective and efficient in their roles.
  • Assess the training needs of the medical representatives and provide appropriate support.

5. Market Information Acquisition:

  • Gather information about competitors and the overall market situation.
  • Use the information to enhance sales and marketing strategies.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare reports on product movement and the results of promotional activities.
  • Use data to assess the success of activities and adjust strategies as necessary.

7. Stakeholder Cooperation:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that planning and execution align with goals and timelines.
  • Maintain good communication and working relationships with all parties involved.

8. Additional Duties:

  • Perform other tasks and duties as required to support the overall success of the product and the company.

Experience requirements

  • At least 03 - 05 years of experience in the management position.
  • Pharmaceutical market knowledge.

Education requirements

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree related to pharmaceutical, marketing, or commercial is an advantage.
