Job summary

Our Client - a well-known semiconductor corporation is looking for qualified candidates for Senior Firmware Engineer role

Job Responsibilities

• Design Environment Setup: Set up the design environment for projects by customizing tools, libraries and methodologies for IC development.
• Issue Resolution: To solve tool and methodology issues for the project team, find automation opportunities, and work with the flow development team and EDA vendors for solutions.
• Collaboration with Flow Development Team and EDA Vendors: Work with the flow development team and EDA vendors for flow/tool enhancement.
• Design Productivity Improvement: Continuously improve design productivity by identifying optimization areas and implementing automation solutions.

Experience requirements

• Verification Experience: With experience in system-level simulation, SoC verification, and functional verification (Able to verify analog mixed signal designs as an advantage)
• Verification Tools: Be proficient in industry-standard verification tools like Xcelium, Jasper, vManager, Perspec, and Zebu for emulation-based simulation. (Knowing all tools is an additional bonus)
• Design Languages: Skilled in C++, SystemVerilog, VHDL/Verilog, and e-Language for creating and simulating complex designs.
• Test Bench Qualification: Experienced in using Certitude for test bench qualification to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Script Programming: Exposure to C, Perl, and Python for automation and customization.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge in IT infrastructure related to LSF farm and Unix system.
• Team Player and Communication Skills: Strong teamwork abilities and good communication skills.

Education requirements

• Qualifications: Possess a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering and worked in Function Verification field.
