Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage an end-to-end NPI Projects
  • Manage the progress of documentation release, material kit status, and tool/jig availability for builds, as well as oversee packaging design and the study and setup of new product building processes.
  • Develop process flows and conduct FMEA for new NPIs.
  • Monitor and coordinate manufacturing processes such as from beginning to assembly, and testing.
  • Collaborate with R&D to address issues and provide advice on solutions during the build, subsequently incorporating findings into DFM and ensuring resolution.
  • Provide upper-level management with regular progress reports on development and rollout.
  • Participate in corrective action requests, root cause analysis, and problem-solving teams addressing project-related issues.
  • Utilize statistical techniques (SPC, Gauge R & R) and demonstrate experience with projects in an APQP/PPAP environment (preferred, but not essential).
  • Undertake any other assigned duties.

Experience requirements

  • Fluency in English.
  • At least 3 years of experience in NPI or Production roles in electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience in PCBA troubleshooting & measuring.
  • Experience in product/process development, verification, and validation techniques and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, communicating accurately, clearly, and directly in both verbal and written forms internally and externally.
  • Practical knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, change management, and strong project management.
  • Proficient in analysis tools such as Mini tab, Cpk, GR&R, SPC.
  • Office Skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Project.

Education requirements

  • University Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related field.
