Job Responsibilities
As the Commercial Director overseeing Marketing and the MT channel, your key responsibilities encompass:
- Strategizing and executing commercial strategies to harmonize sales, marketing, and business objectives, with a keen focus on financial targets and market dynamics.
- Driving revenue growth and fostering business development to expand the company's market share and attract new customers.
- Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, including scrutinizing sales data, market trends, and financial reports, to inform data-driven decisions and enhance performance.
- Negotiating and overseeing commercial agreements with customers and vendors, encompassing pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Collaborating with profit targets to devise pricing strategies, optimize margins, and ensure sustainable profitability.
- Conducting thorough competitor and market analysis to identify emerging trends, evaluate opportunities, and drive continuous product/service enhancements.
- Designing and implementing customer satisfaction initiatives to bolster client retention and reinforce brand loyalty.
- Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities to diversify the company's revenue streams and bolster its competitive position.
- Providing leadership and motivation to the commercial team (Sales & MKT), offering mentorship and guidance to foster a culture of excellence.
- Implementing strategic training programs and supporting the professional growth of the team.
Regarding authority:
Human Resources:
- Providing recommendations on the organizational structure of Marketing, Sales, Trade MKT, I&S, SO, including titles, positions, headcount, salary structures, and bonus & allowance policies.
- Making decisions on recruitment, rotation, and termination within Marketing, Sales, Trade MKT, I&S, SO, from ASM level downwards.
Expertise:
- Approving annual sales targets, sales policies, promotions by product, promotions by giveaways, and brand marketing advertising expenses within budget, with consent from the Deputy General Director - Finance & Service.
Experience requirements
- Demonstrated success in a senior commercial leadership role, 5-7 years of experience.
- Proven track record of achieving targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.
- High levels of experience in sales and/or marketing, as well as managing relationships with important clients and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and business development principles and best practices
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving commercial targets
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards shared goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Skills of setting up, consulting on strategy & management according to objectives / plans.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and manage commercial agreements with customers and vendors.
- English proficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Having strategic vision, planning to run the entire business operations professionally and decisively
- Ability to organize and exploit resources (finance, human resources, other assets) effectively
Education requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
