Supply Chain Manager

Job summary

Adecco's client - a multinational manufacturer in industrial products with an early establishment is looking for a highly competent Supply Chain Manager to join their factory to build up its supply chain operations in Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

• The role is created to support its plant to be developed and controlled by a good planning schedule and its effective supply chain strategies in order to meet delivery timeline and customers' satisfaction. You will be managing whole supply chain process within a factory operation.
• This role will be managing end-to-end purchasing (direct & indirect materials). planning from sales orders to on time delivery, warehouse operations management including inventory control, logistics monitoring and improvement programs.
• Train and guide employees
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

Experience requirements

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management within manufacturing operations at managerial positions, preferably experience in setting up processes and building a competent team.
• Able build a good rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• English fluency.
• Good leadership skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Good communication, strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in ERP systems.

Education requirements

• Any degree in supply chain, business, or other majors.
