Job summary

Our client, a global leader in home improvement products, is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist to manage and improve production plan and capacity of their manufacturing partners in Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up the on boarding process of new supplier.
• Mange delivery execution for supplier/ factory assigned.
• Handle fulfillment issue when business needs.
• Consolidate Information from Suppliers assigned in a weekly basis. 
• Create fulfillment metrics together with the functional teams to drive delivery performance of suppliers.
• Conduct team reports of delivery metrics, monthly report and crisis management.
• Conduct plants visit and capacity assessment to proactive manage supply chain risks.
• Supply chain improvement and value creation projects.

Experience requirements

• At least 5 years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment or working with contract manufacturing partners.
• Must have manufacturing background to understand production planning and manufacturing process constraints.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills, both inside the company and externally with suppliers.
• Versatility and adaptability with a proven track record in identifying business opportunities, working independently to create and execute plans of action, and ability to influence and deliver results in a dynamic, cross functional, global, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in data analysis with Excel and PPT.
• Knowledge of import and export is an advantage.
• Knowledge of factory operations/production management / six sigma and lean manufacturing a plus. 

Education requirements

• BS or above in Engineering/Business Management or related field
