Job summary

• Adecco's client, a well-respected private equity with investors from Singapore, United States, and Vietnam, is actively looking for highly qualified candidates to fill in Chief Investment Officer, who has high expertise in sourcing deals across Vietnam's industrial real estates.

Job Responsibilities

• As the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), you will report to Chief Executive Officer and be responsible for the following.
• Firm Building: Partner with the founders and advisors to develop and implement the firm’s vision, infrastructure, and long-term growth strategy.
• Investment Strategy: Define and execute the firm’s investment strategy, aligned with value-add and opportunistic real estate investments in the Vietnamese and Southeast Asian markets.
• Deal Sourcing & Execution: Lead the identification, assessment, and execution of real estate investment opportunities. Manage all stages of the investment process, from due diligence to closing deals.
•  Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of the firm’s real estate portfolio, ensuring optimal capital allocation, risk management, and value creation.
• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Collaborate with the founders on fundraising efforts, investor communications, and capital deployment strategies. Serve as a key point of contact for institutional and private investors.
• Market Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, emerging opportunities, and risks in the real estate landscape. Provide strategic insights to guide the firm’s investments and operations.
• Team Leadership: Help recruit, mentor, and lead an investment team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure that all investment activities adhere to local and international regulations, working closely with legal, financial, and compliance teams.

Experience requirements

• Proven experience (10+ years) in real estate investment in Asia-Pacific, preferably in  Vietnamese markets, or investment management.
•  In-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese and/or Southeast Asian real estate markets, with an established network of industry contacts.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing investment teams and portfolios.
• Expertise in financial modeling and reporting, risk management, and capital allocation.
• Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate, and execute complex real estate transactions.
• Advanced degree in finance, real estate, or related fields; CFA or similar certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting to and managing relationships with institutional investors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Education requirements

• Master or university degree in investment, international economics, finance & banking, or related subjects.
