“Vietnamese workforce, despite being hard-working and has a great entrepreneurial spirit, is not yet ready for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The revolution will replace repetitive jobs with AI/automation, while the demand for technical, higher cognitive, social & emotional skills will rise. Vietnamese employees need to be their own ‘helping hands’ in re-skilling and up-skilling themselves, by actively learning through online and offline resources.” commented by Mr Andree Mangels, General Director of Adecco Vietnam.
Alongside the 2019 Salary Guide, Adecco Vietnam also introduces two insightful info-graphics on 2019 and 2030 labour market outlook.
Packed with the list of Vietnam’s hottest positions and trends, the 2019 infographic is a helpful guide for strategic recruitment planning. With the impact of AI/automation on jobs and the shift in skills, the 2030 infographic provides an essential guideline for employees in re-skilling and up-skilling themselves.
In addition to the 2019 salary, this year, the 2018 salary is included alongside to give a closure look at the movement of the positions within the labour market. The market’s need for the position is also well reflected through the salaries of 2 consecutive years.
