Environment and Corporate Responsibility Manager

Job summary

Our client, a leading global manufacturing company committed to leading the charge in environmental responsibility and corporate social consciousness, is looking for Environment and Corporate Responsibility Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversea and manage all environmental and chemical management systems in Vietnam and other SEA countries in compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Manage corporate responsibility activities in Vietnam and SEA countries – dealing with brands, customers, government for social and environmental/sustainability issues.
• Responsible for coordinating and sustainability reporting for Vietnam and other SEA countries.

Experience requirements

• Min 5 years of working experience in managing / leading team
• Min 10 years of prior compliance experience management experience in environmental, manufacturing area in medium to large manufacturing scope
• Min. 3 year experience in Social Compliance and Environment auditing, with the resultant driving of CAP. Knowledge of the local and national legislation. Good communication skills within all levels of the organisation, externally and internally. Ability to think logically is a prerequisite.
• Knowledge and experience for Social Compliance and Environment auditing systems development and deployment, and chemical management knowledge.
• Experience understanding, applying and explaining laws and regulations;
• Proficiency in English both speaking and writing.

Education requirements

• University degree in a Business or Technical fields as Engineering or Environmental related degrees.
