Job summary

We are currently looking for a Key Account Lead to join a top medical equipment company.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, service, and grow relationships with key channel partners-distributors, hospitals, vaccination centres, healthcare facilities, medical associations and OTC channel


Development of business strategies & implementation plan, negotiation with partners, education service recommendation, product enhancement in both ETC and OTC channel


Establish business objectives by projecting budget and outcomes objectives for territories and the region assigned.

Lead field force team to meet established financial goals and objective while maintaining assigned territory budget.

Liaising with senior internal stakeholders while connecting with customers (distributor, channel partners, HCPs, service providers etc) to translate the organisation vision into an effective commercial strategy keeping in mind the local market dynamics.

  • Coordinate stakeholder and market needs to define, plan and accelerate GTM implementation for current product and NPI launch to key channel partners.
  • Manage all aspects of the pre- and post-launch product life cycle, including monitoring and reporting on the in-market activity, responding with tactical development and marketing activities to ensure continued profitability and growth.
  • Create opportunity to enhance existing and identify new opportunities to increase growth across all channels.
  • Planning and implementing customer presentations positioning Abbott as the expert partner.
  • Acquiring new customers, new territory and continue to build existing relationships

Ensure the delivery of business objective through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward

Forecasting and inventory management

Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements

Work with cross functional teams locally and regionally

Ensure all business activity of portfolio assigned are conducted professionally, aligned with regulatory and industry guidelines, and are conducted in a manner consistent with Abbott’s Code of conduct guidelines, and Abbott’s Anticorruption Policy.

Experience requirements

  • More than 3-5 years of experience in working in healthcare industry , preferably at least 2 years of experience at manager level
  • Proven ability to think big and develop growth plans with clear KPIs and tracking mechanisms
  • Self-driven with an ability to effectively work as an individual contributor
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Conversant in English and Vietnamese.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office.
  • Aggressive, ability to work under high pressure.
