Job summary

Adecco's client - a newly setup company is actively looking for a Quality Manager to join their factory based around Ho Chi Minh city and shall report to an expat based in Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and support assigned projects and initiatives of medium and high complexity applying Project Management methodology
  • Mange assigned projects through the various stages of Project life cycle from concept to launching.
  • Develop a detailed project plan and schedule, adjusting and preparing risk management analysis as needed.
  • Ensure changes to the project scope, timings and costs are managed, reported and escalated as required.
  • Ensuring project risks are captured and suitably managed to eliminate or mitigated to an appropriate level.
  • Ensure that project status reporting is accurate, timely and effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain Project Management systems and processes to support continual improvement. Identify, develop and share best practice project processes, tools and templates to achieve optimal effectiveness and efficiency with activities delivered to the highest possible standards.
  • Facilitate multi-departmental functional collaboration and lead teams effectively through challenging problem solving circumstances when necessary in order to arrive at resolutions.
  • Ensure that appropriate Commercial and Quality agreements are in place as required.

Experience requirements

  • Project Management Qualifications (Prince2, PMP or similar is preferred)
  • Previous experience in the use of Microsoft Project.
  • Previous experience in project planning and project management.
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • High attention to detail and result-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks within a high volume, varied workload
  • Good negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment.

Education requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or similar field.
