Job summary
Adecco's client - A leading internaltional company in plastic products manufacturing is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards at every stage of production. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring, testing, and maintaining the quality of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods in our plastic products manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Quality System Implementation: Develop and implement quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent product quality.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Audits: Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and prepare for external audits.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including test results, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Training: Educate production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a quality-focused culture.
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures to mitigate issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze data from quality reports and audits to identify trends and areas for improvement. Propose and implement initiatives to enhance quality performance.
- Customer Feedback: Handle quality-related customer complaints and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the supply chain.
Experience requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
- Knowledge of testing methods and inspection techniques for plastic materials and products.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software is a plus.
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
