Quality Engineer (Furniture)

Job summary

Our client, one of the largest retail and online suppliers of educational materials with more than 60+, is looking for a Furniture Engineer in Vietnam market.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with USA Quality Engineers to align on Product Test Plans.
• Provide test plan guidance and support to suppliers.
• Analyze test results to summarize product performance against testing requirements.
• Identify industry standards for raw material and finished product testing.
• Coach and train suppliers on appropriate testing standards to enable alignment of product design and product performance requirements.
• Support quality initiatives (PPAP, Cpk, etc.)

Experience requirements

• 5+ years of product quality engineering experience
• Fluent in English communication.
• Master in ASTM, ANSI/BIFMA, and other testing standards. Can readily identify appropriate test standards for each application
• Deep understanding of raw material processing and handling in global manufacturing environments in the furniture industry
• Proven work experience in Quality, Engineering, and Testing Standards

Education requirements

Bachelor's Degree – Engineering, Science, or Quality Management
