Job Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics processes in line with company guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement standard procedures and best practices across all assigned accounts to maintain consistency.
- Take initiative to propose and introduce process improvements through appropriate channels.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Fleet, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and Suppliers to streamline daily workflows and enhance overall service quality.
- Accurately manage and update reservations, passenger details, logistics, and internal notes in the company’s reservation system in a timely manner.
- Handle reservations for various services, including accommodations, flights, train tickets, suppliers, restaurants, and package components, excluding transportation and tour guides.
- Double-check and confirm all itinerary details before forwarding documents to agents and providing information to the sales team.
- Provide 24/7 on-the-ground support to address customer issues, complaints, and incidents promptly.
- Resolve service-related problems efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction with corrective and preventive measures.
- Ensure all bookings are executed within the designated budget.
- Track and report individual sales performance on a daily and weekly basis.
- Communicate with the finance team regarding receivables and payables to maintain financial accuracy.
- Actively participate in training programs or skill development sessions suggested by the Reservations Team Leader or relevant to the role.
- Stay informed about company products and services to maintain a strong knowledge base.
- Regularly discuss potential business improvements and efficiency strategies with your leader.
Experience requirements
- Well-developed problem-solving skill
- Customer centric with commitment to high standards of service delivery
- High attention to details & strong time/priority management skills
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
- Flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to work with uncertainties/changing priorities and under pressure.
- Willing to travel on business when required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Education requirements
- Degree in tourism and hospitality or experience in Tourism or Hospitality is an advantage
- Fluent in national local language and intermediate to advanced level of written and spoken German and English
