Sales and Market Development Manager

Job summary

Our client is one of the world-leading suppliers of high-tech polymer materials.

This Sales and Market Development Manager role is responsible for supporting the fast growth of the footwear business in Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of sales strategies and plans, making quick adjustments when necessary.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure the achievement of volume and margin targets.
• Identify and explore new markets, applications, and customers, and manage these opportunities effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, decision-makers, and key influencers in target markets, staying updated on trends in market, applications, and technology.
• Regularly provide reports on market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
• Define product, supply, and technical service requirements and coordinate with relevant functions to offer necessary support to customers.
• Manage accounts receivable collections by working closely with the credit management team and providing required information.
• Work closely with assigned key accounts to develop and execute account plans.
• Lead the ASEAN footwear business to achieve targets by managing a cross-country segment team, fulfilling Key Account Management (KAM) roles, and collaborating with the regional segment team.

Experience requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in marketing, sales, or related fields.
• Experience in the Footwear/Engineering Polymer industry is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with an international business environment is advantageous, but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage uncertainty.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly disciplined with a sense of urgency to fulfill commitments.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Education requirements

• Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
