Sales Manager (Footwear)

Job summary

Our client, an European company manufacturing PU/PVC synthetic leather, is looking for Sales Manager. This Sales Manager role is responsible for all sales activity in Vietnam and reports to the General Manager directly.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive business development initiatives targeting manufacturing groups and local brand liaison offices in Vietnam. Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, including those in Materials, Innovation, and Product Development teams, to showcase our company's offerings and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive factory account penetration strategies, fostering relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Implement detailed brand account penetration plans, under the guidance of the General Director.
• Supervise a team of 10 direct associates in Vietnam, providing guidance for their professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational sales objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Development Director and General Director to analyze sales performance and competitive trends against established plans and goals. Take or recommend appropriate corrective actions as necessary.

Experience requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a similar managerial position.
• Proven experience managing a team of at least 5 staff.
• Prior experience in the PU/PVC synthetic leather industry, particularly in the manufacturing of shoes and bags, is highly preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related degree.
