Senior Apparel Fabric Developer

Job summary

Our client, an European company specializing in footwear, apparel and accessories, is looking for a Senior Apparel Fabric Developer.

Job Responsibilities

• Working closely with business stakeholders on seasonal fabric selection activities and overcome any quality related cases prior to receipt of bulk orders.
• Support Material Team to update status regarding product changes, price and lead-time in Material Database system.
• Communicating with Graphic Designers in overseas offices and mills.
• Approval on final development AOP strike-offs (activate roller with mill). Bulk roller approval - Artwork (compare to Approved final Development AOP strike-off).
• Support consolidation on color fastness failure against GB test requirement.

Experience requirements

• High Diploma or Degree in Textile / Fashion / Clothing related discipline
• 5 years or above experience in garment/fabric merchandising
• Product knowledge in fabric is necessary, all-over-print experience is a plus
• Able to follow-through with attention to details
• Good command of spoken and written English
