Senior Visual Basic Developer

Job summary

Adecco's client is looking for a Visual Basic Developer to join the company.

Job Responsibilities

1. Development and Maintenance

• Develop and deploy system
• Maintain existing system and develop new functions as required
• Discuss with customer to analyze and understand requirements of the products

2. Documentation and Communication

• Assist prepare the proposal on business enhancement as well as potential product development
• Assist Prepare and manage the technical documents

3. Others

• Approach and research new technologies to apply to the new business
• Collaborate with project leaders and other stakeholders to get projects done on time with high quality
• Report to Manager issues related to projects, work of team and the company

Experience requirements

 Experience:

• At least 3 years exp working with VB
• Proven experience as a Application Developer with expertise in Visual Basic
• Strong proficiency in Visual Basic programming language and hands-on experience with the Visual Basic Project. 
• Solid understanding of Commerce Pos System. 
• Experience with Device Interface.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and experience in building and consuming network protocol. 
• Knowledge of VMware build tools module bundlers, and task runners. 
• Proficient understanding of version control systems, preferably Git. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Skill:

• Experience with Visual Basic 6, VB.Net
• Experience with Network Program
• Experienced with working on VMware based infrastructure
• Experience with System Maintain

Acknowledgments:

• Experience in the following areas is an advantage: Visual Basic 6
