Job summary

A new job opportunity as Process Engineer has just arisen in a Global Manufacturing company in Chemicals/ Rubber/ Injuction Molding which is set up its operations in Vietnam. Successfully candidates will be sent to overseas to be trained and this role is potentially promoted to a higher level after plant starts operantions.

Job Responsibilities

• This is a Europe organizations manufacturing in Chemical/ Plastic/ Packaging field.
• Act as a key team member for carrying out and ….. lean manufacturing techniques in project fullfillment and Kaizen activities.
• Help in identifying and creating process flow maps.
• Understand equipment/ process/ products use and limitations, work with Engineering and Maintenance to improve.
• Coordinate and communicate with Operations, Process Technicians, Maintenance and Engineering Manager on any HSE, or equipment issues or any additional training of personnel.
• Work side by side with Production and Production Engineering to initiate rework, investigate, trial and implement initial and or long term corrective actions and changes.
• Liaise and support New Product Introduction, to assist in the trialing of sample production and process evaluation
• Effectively support for cross functional teams on customer returns to investigate, trial and implement initial and or long term fixes and changes.
• Use 6 Sigma/ Kaizen/5S methodology and be part of continuous improvement and change management projects, ect. 

Experience requirements

5-10 Years experience in process/ production engineering in Plastic/ Rubber/ Chemicals field, with knowledge and experience of 6 Sigma techniques, Kaizen, 5S and etc. route cause analysis, elastomer production.

Education requirements

BA or Master Qualification in Mechanical/Process/Production Engineering, or a minimum of 10 years experience in a Process Engineering discipline.
