Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute corporate banking strategies aligned with the bank’s overall goals to enhance market share in Vietnam.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive financial solutions, including loans, cash management, trade finance, and treasury services.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, deepening existing relationships, and ensuring effective cross-selling of the bank’s products and services.
  • Risk Management: Oversee risk assessment, ensuring compliance with local regulations and the bank’s internal policies. Work closely with the risk and compliance teams to manage the credit portfolio effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of corporate bankers, credit analysts fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Financial Performance: Take responsibility for the overall P&L of the corporate banking division in Vietnam, managing revenue targets and ensuring profitability.
  • Market Insight: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and economic conditions that could impact the corporate banking landscape in Vietnam.

Experience requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate banking, with a proven track record of leadership in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Vietnamese market and regulatory environment.
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships with large corporate clients, MNC and understanding of their financial needs.
  • Proven business acumen with the ability to drive profitability and growth in a highly competitive market.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese

Education requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
