Job Responsibilities

Contract Review:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of all external and internal contracts, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company policies.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize investment, M&A, and industrial real estate transaction agreements.

Legal Compliance:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all business operations.
  • Guide on legal and regulatory matters, keeping abreast of changes in legislation affecting the industry.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and foresee potential legal risks associated with investments, M&A activities, and real estate transactions.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and management, to provide legal advice and support.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors and consultants as needed to ensure comprehensive legal coverage.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, providing direction and support in their development.
  • Oversee the legal department's operations, ensuring efficient processes and effective resource allocation.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present reports on legal matters, compliance issues, and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing legal insights to support business objectives.


Experience requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of PQE in a legal role, with a focus on investment, M&A, and industrial real estate.
  • Prefer candidates from top-tier RE developers and prestigious law firms.
  • Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
