Job summary

An excellent Procurement Supervisor job based in Vietnam has just arisen at one of the world's leading Manufacturing companies. 

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead the procurement team in sourcing and acquiring materials, equipment, and services necessary for manufacturing operations.
• Identify potential suppliers, conduct vendor evaluations, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate supplier effectiveness.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, and finance teams, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with operational needs.

Experience requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
• Experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese languages (spoken and written).
