Job summary

Job Responsibilities

1. Sales Management:

  • Create and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet sales objectives within the designated territory.
  • Ensure that both sell-in and sell-out goals are achieved or surpassed.
  • Track and evaluate sales performance metrics to direct team efforts and strategies.

2. Team Leadership:

  • Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of Sales Representatives to reach both individual and collective sales goals.
  • Offer ongoing training and development opportunities to improve the skills and competencies of the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

3. Market Penetration and Expansion:

  • Discover new business opportunities and increase the presence of C1 and C2 in the territory.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key accounts, including C1 customers, C2 intermediaries, and farmers.
  • Perform market research to gain insights into customer needs, competitor actions, and market trends.

4. Sales Operations:

  • Ensure effective and efficient processes for liquidation from C1 to C2 and farmers.
  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to guarantee timely product delivery.

5. Financial Management:

  • Ensure customers make timely payments and manage overdue accounts effectively.
  • Oversee and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
  • Stay in contact with the Finance Team to track the payment status of customers.
  • Develop strategies to enhance cash flow and decrease outstanding receivables.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to the Sales Head for Zone 1 or Zone 2.
  • Leverage data and analytics to shape sales strategies and inform decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

7. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Promptly and effectively address and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings with customers to understand their needs and offer customized solutions.

Experience requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in the sales of agricultural products or related sectors, with a demonstrated history of success in a comparable managerial position.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed.


Education requirements

  • Bachelor of Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related discipline.
