Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Interacts with USA PD team to understand product line direction for new programs and helps execute requirements with factories.
  • Track calendar to ensure timelines are met.
  • Create product documentation using Centric PLM system and other tools to communicate product expectations to manufacturing partners. Continue to manage product development process via PLM throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Use time management and organizational skills to keep clear record of all product and component documentation and filing.
  • Support Product development team with accurate, timely, and professional communication.
  • Review all product samples prior to sending to US team against product documentation providing feedback to factory and US team.
  • Visit factories to monitor product/samples during all stages of development and ensuring all product specifications and company's processes are being met.
  • Review and provide comments for all top of production samples.
  • Maintain detailed records of product specifications, development stages, and testing outcomes.
  • Proactively address delays or quality issues with vendors and develop action plans to mitigate future disruptions.
  • Partner with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet compliance and regulatory standards, particularly in baby and child safety.
  • Establish clear schedules and deadlines for vendors to meet project milestones.
  • Regularly evaluate vendor performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including ontime delivery metrics.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors to ensure alignment on expectations, production schedules, and shipping timelines.
  • Identify and address potential risks to on-time delivery early in the development process.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to develop contingency plans for critical delays.
  • Escalate significant vendor performance issues to leadership as needed, with detailed analysis and recommendations.
  • Work with vendors to streamline processes and improve efficiency to enhance on-time performance.
  • Provide feedback and training to vendors on company's standards for punctuality, communication, and quality.
  • In addition to these functions, employees may be required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required by the immediate manager or supervisor. 

Experience requirements

  • Above 5 years + related experience required. 


Education requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Textiles or related subjects
