Job summary

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Developing marketing strategies, business plans, and budgets.
  • Creating mid- to long-term growth strategies by analyzing market trends, technology, and consumer behaviors, with a 3-5 year growth plan by product and market segment.
  • Leading market intelligence efforts, including demand research, competitor analysis, consumer insights, technology trends, and operational tactics.

Management of Above-the-Line (ATL) Activities

  • Handling corporate and product branding.
  • Managing ATL activities such as TVC, digital campaigns, OOH, PR/CSR, and brand events with a focus on ROI.
  • Overseeing social media accounts (Zalo, Tiktok, Facebook), including ads, content creation, traffic management, and consumer insights.
  • Running the Dr. Map Program.

Management of Below-the-Line (BTL) Activities

  • Supervising business development activities like demos, technical meetings, crop, and product events.
  • Overseeing product-related activities, including pricing, competitor analysis, product roadmaps, and rebate programs.
  • Managing farmer-focused activities such as Farmer Club and CRS events.
  • Coordinating the production and installation of POSM, including design, vendor management, and execution.
  • Developing and executing trade promotions, measuring effectiveness and ROI, and maintaining the marketing database.
  • Leading new product launches with effective marketing plans and promotional schedules.

Budget Management and Control

  • Managing the budget for both ATL and BTL activities, including execution approval, vendor selection, and employee advances.
  • Overseeing the department's operational expenses and budget.

Team and HR Management

  • Planning HR needs and establishing the organizational structure.
  • Managing team KPIs, performance reviews, and dialogues.
  • Organizing training programs for the team.

SOP and Policy Development

  • Developing and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies.

Experience requirements

  • Knowledge of plant protection products and associated items.
  • Excellent sales closing abilities with strong skills in oral and written communication, telephone interactions, and presentations. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in planning and working independently.
  • Skilled in risk management and problem-solving.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.

Education requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Plant Protection, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
