Job summary

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet targets in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the design and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure their strict adherence.
• Conduct training for production staff to improve operational skills and knowledge.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Maintain and prepare production reports, analyze data, and present findings to management.
• Oversee the maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Experience requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Proficiency in manufacturing tools, equipment, and technology related to plastic products production.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Familiarity with CAD software and production planning tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
