Job Responsibilities

Market Access Strategies & Execution

• Develop and implement market access strategies to influence national healthcare and reimbursement policies.
• Lead price negotiations, manage the NRDL and reimbursement processes, including dossier preparation, health economics studies, price declarations, and negotiations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as payers, policymakers, Key Opinion Leaders, academic experts, institutions, and patient associations to communicate the added value of the company’s innovative products.
• Monitor and analyze market access trends, including competition, changes in the healthcare system, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) developments, and overall industry trends. Execute market access plans aligned with both local needs and global strategies.
• Implement strategic frameworks for market access, such as payer engagement, negotiations, and objection handling, working closely with the Affiliate Management Team and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Tailor local value messages based on health economics evidence, ensuring alignment with local patients, payers, healthcare providers, and decision-makers. Create local health economics communication tools to highlight the drug's value and maximize market uptake.
• Communicate health economics evidence and publication needs to International Operations (IO) to enhance local business opportunities and drive stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with IO, Regional, and local teams to develop a cohesive value dossier for submissions, ensuring that it resonates with local payers.
• Stay updated on local pricing developments, ensure compliance with pricing SOPs, and provide insights into pricing strategies, reflecting broader business implications. Represent the company in local pricing platforms and collaborate with the field-based market access team to align negotiation tactics with internal pricing policies.

Government Affairs

• Design and implement a Government Affairs strategy aimed at influencing trends and policies that affect the company and its therapeutic areas.
• Identify and address government affairs issues that could impact short- and long-term objectives in each therapeutic area.
• Establish and manage strategic platforms for engagement with stakeholders to drive company priorities through multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Monitor and report on competitive activities and healthcare reform trends, ensuring relevant information is shared with internal teams.
• Stay informed about the company’s commercial objectives and business strategies, assessing their political feasibility.

Experience requirements

• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical market access factors, including pricing and reimbursement strategies, as well as public and government affairs.
• Proven track record in managing change and successfully driving market access initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in both oral and written English is required.

Education requirements

• Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Health Economics, or another relevant healthcare field.
