Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

• Develop and execute the local business strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the Vietnam coal market.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Market & Client Management

• Oversee coal trading activities and ensure the successful execution of deals.
• Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and suppliers.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to adapt trading strategies.

Team & Operations Management

• Lead and mentor the team, including the trading assistant, ensuring a high-performance culture.
• Manage the financials of the local entity, including budgeting and P&L oversight.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency for the business.

Reporting & Communication

• Regularly report on market developments, performance, and strategic progress to global leadership.

Experience requirements

• 10+ years of coal or commodities trading experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record in business development and managing P&L.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics in Vietnam.
• Proficiency in English; Vietnamese is a plus.
