Accountant Specialist

Job Responsibilities

·       Processing, verifying, and posting cash at bank receipts/ credit notes/ merchant’s revenue deduction against sales invoices in Oracle system.

·       Processing and recording sales invoices in Oracle system for completed services.

·       Performing various reconciliations and coordinate with other internal departments/ teams to resolve variances.

·       Reciliation VAT output between total VAT invoices issued and systems recognition.

·       Supporting financial audits/ tax audits by getting relevant AR data, including but not limited to VAT invoices, contracts, liquidation minutes, etc.

·       Support Grab Support team to resolve VAT invoices issues which are logged into the internal ticketing system.

·       Perform reconciliation work of a few MOCA banks; The work includes getting data from Bank Ops team, reconciling with bank statements to find discrepancies; Utilizing various automation tools to support the daily work.

·       Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Experience requirements

·       At least 3 years of experience, preferably in multinational companies, with exposure to ERP software.

·       Very good command of English

·       Strong Excel skills.

·       Be a person with very strong attention to details, patient and careful in daily scope of work

·       Willing to push further for the highest deliverable quality

·       Willing to work overtime during closing periods

·       ACCA/ CPA/ Other processional accounting qualifications

·       Ability to use PowerBI and another analytic tool.
