Accounting Associate

Job summary

Our client, an investment management firm is hiring a potential candidate for an Accounting Associate.

Job Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for management company, advisory entities and the holding company based in various jurisdictions: Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, Japan.

• Learn the financial rules from Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and apply to Keyrock Hong Kong company as appropriate.

• Receive, review, refute or confirm expenses for: research expenses, company expenses, employee expenses and fund expenses. • Participate in the payments process.

• Assist COO & Accounting Analyst to answer questions from the corporate company’s auditors.

• Test software to add efficiency to corporate company’s processes.

• Assist Accounting Analyst and COO with corporate tax work and legal structuring research, review for possible corporate expansion (i.e.: Vietnam, etc.).

Experience requirements

• Bachelor of Accounting (or the equivalent).

• Experience with bookkeeping/audit for corporate service company or a financial services company (ideally 1 - 2 years).

• Advanced English.
