Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Job summary

Our client — a leading player in the Furniture Manufacturing — is currently seeking a Advanced Engineering Manager to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic shift toward blow-molded plastic frame solutions and execute the development roadmap.
• Drive innovation in fast-assembly technologies, including clip systems and tool-free connections.
• Develop and validate new motion systems that improve product ergonomics, reliability, and assembly efficiency.
• Oversee the design, testing, and refinement of future-oriented components such as internal frames, enclosures, mechanical parts, and fastening systems.
• Promote modular and serviceable product architectures to improve manufacturability and reduce labor complexity.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team focused on next-generation product development.
• Work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between innovation and large-scale production capabilities.
• Coordinate advanced projects with global teams in multiple regions (e.g., U.S., Asia) to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.

Experience requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in product or manufacturing engineering, with 3+ years in leadership or advanced development roles.
• Proven experience leading innovation or complex cross-functional engineering programs.
• Strong foundation in blow molding, injection molding, and metal part design.
• Experience designing motion mechanisms and managing plastic-to-metal interfaces.
• Skilled in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and simulation/FEA software.
• Familiar with rapid prototyping, DFM principles, and PLM systems.
