A well-known company in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products is looking for Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team in HCMC & Mekong.
Job Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Achieve business goals by developing potential customers and executing product marketing plans in your region.
- Build relationships with customers, provide product information, and identify new business opportunities.
- Gather market insights and share feedback with management.
- Follow approved marketing and sales plans, suggest improvements, and analyze data to identify growth opportunities.
- Track sales activities, optimize resources, and report field activities to management.
Team Management
- Build a strong team by setting clear goals, supporting, and encouraging collaboration among team members.
- Use reward systems to motivate the team to achieve better results.
- Train the sales team, offer timely support, and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct performance evaluations and personal development sessions for team members, creating individual growth plans.
- Plan for recruitment to reduce the impact of staffing shortages and work with HR to ensure timely hiring.
- Ensure new team members are fully trained and ready before starting their work.
- Build strong professional relationships with industry experts and key groups, staying in touch and offering proactive support when needed.
Internal and External Stakeholders
- Direct Management:
- Discuss and set regional objectives and action plans.
- Evaluate performance and conduct development interviews.
- Provide necessary information for reports.
- Key Customers:
- Doctors, pharmacists, pharmacies, and local distributors.
- Other Partners:
- Insurance companies, healthcare systems, medical and pharmaceutical associations.
- Promote the company's products and image.
Experience requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, three years of which is in a supervisory capacity.
- Open-minded and have ability to work in a team atmosphere with flexible attitude to work,
- Available for travel most of your working time
Education requirements
- University degree/ master’s in general medicine/ Pharmacy/ Sales
