Assistant Security Manager

Job summary

Our client – a global leader in manufacturing solutions – is seeking a Security Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in safeguarding our operations, managing security systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide functional guidance to management, ensuring security measures meet contractual, policy, and budget requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement loss mitigation strategies to enhance security systems and operations.
• Investigate security-related incidents, draft detailed reports, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Manage and control the performance of security vendors across all company sites.
• Collaborate with site leaders and department managers to identify and address security needs effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with security vendors, local authorities, and police teams for smooth coordination.
• Oversee security systems, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, Vietnamese legislation, and operational guidelines.
• Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans for critical situations.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Experience requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a managerial security role, preferably in foreign companies.

Knowledge:

• Strong command of English (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Solid understanding of Vietnamese law, security systems, and industry best practices.

Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise in physical and system security controls.
• Strong investigative skills for handling incidents and criminal acts.
• Excellent observation, time management, and organizational skills.
• Calm under pressure with problem-solving capabilities.

Education requirements

• College degree or above, preferably in Law or Police / Security Studies
