Automotive Specialist

Job summary

Adecco's client - a leading company in automotive manufacturing sector is looking for an Automotive Specialist to bridge between company and automotive clients in terms of product development, technical support and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for automotive clients in the region, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with project needs.
• Coordinate RFQ processes, technical reviews, and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and pricing teams.
• Support customer-specific product development cycles, including PPAP, APQP, and change management processes.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of samples, tooling, and mass production launches.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and supply chain to meet customer expectations.
• Conduct regular customer visits, attend audits, and support troubleshooting activities when needed.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer roadmaps to support business growth in the automotive segment.
• Maintain accurate records of projects, pricing agreements, and communications.

Experience requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in the automotive industry
• Understanding of automotive standards and systems such as IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, and ISO 26262.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills; able to work with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Project management mindset with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel domestically and regionally as required.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business, or related field.
