Job summary

Adecco is supporting a global company providing global supply chain solutions to find potential candidates for Sales Manager positions (more than 01 headcounts) to join their newly expanded logistics services (freight forwarding/contract logistics). 

The role focuses mainly on identifying sales leads, acquiring new customers to drive company's growth. 

Job Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for corporate sales target.
  • Continuously and proactively conducting industries and markets research to identify new sales opportunities and prospects.
  • Utilize various methods such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals to seek out potential client.
  • Develop and deliver proposals to potential customers.
  • Sustain strong and long-term relationships with existing/new customers to understand their needs, concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's logistics solutions and services, industry trends, market conditions.
  • Updating industry regulations and compliance requirements relating to international logistics and transportation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team on tailor-made logistics solutions design, pricing, contract T&Cs negotiations to ensure successful execution. Responsible to manage costs and risks with international trade, support developing financial solutions and risk management strategies.

Experience requirements

  • Proven experience from 3 to 5 years in sales/business development roles with in-depth knowledge in Contract Logistics/Freight Forwarding Industry.
  • Professional and proficient English communications. Good communication skills with multiple stakeholders (clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors).
  • Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities.
  • Well-organized, outcome oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as team player.
  • Sharp negotiation, consultative and client management skills.
