Adecco client is the Asia's leading distributed solar developer for the high-end industrial & commercial market, looking for a Business Development Manager
Job Responsibilities
Investment Development:
- Identify and develop projects with immediate and upcoming opportunities for rooftop solar solutions under power purchase agreements (PPA); Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other needs to decarbonize the energy supply.
- Constantly find and develop new business relationships with key decision makers in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market.
- Search projects individually under line manager’s guidance and find a way to achieve the goals. Identify and analyze potential risks to recommend GO or NO-GO.
- Assist other team members to achieve targets, as necessary.
- Keep financial status clear in market promotion and investment process; ensure all reimbursement is legal and all expense is reasonable.
- Adhere to the highest business ethics in all its dealings, especially dealings with customers and clients.
Marketing Development:
- Promote COMPANY’s brand in public and maximize the awareness about COMPANY and its offerings.
- Find and report to any negative publicity about COMPANY to management.
- Actively participate in various marketing activities organized by COMPANY and maximize business opportunities through marketing activities.
- Actively update the status of marketing, clients and competitors and contribute feasible plan to improve COMPANY performance.
Maintain Customer Relationship:
- Develop new client relationship and maintain existing customer relationship.
- Involve in requirements analysis and evaluate presentation process impacts on customer experience.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies, trade show, event & chambers, etc.
Experience requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in industrial segments; priority for segments including Automobiles & Components, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Technology hardware & Equipment, and Semiconductors & Equipment related.Preferably in an international context, with international companies.
- Priority for working experiences in Japanese & Korean FDI.
- Have a good English as working language.
- Priority for additional language skills in Japanese or Korean.
- Have a considerable client base especially with large commercial/industrial/corporate accounts.
- Have good networking skills and customer-orientation, willing to spend time with major clients & accounts and be a decisive key role in main sales projects such as door opening, negotiating and deal closing.
- Are result oriented, responsible and well organized.
- Have the ability to think out of box and bring new innovation and strategic mindset to the work is also a key to this role.
- Are passionate and result oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven track record of getting things done.
