Job summary
A Business Manager position has just arisen in a global medical device company. This role will implement the business strategy to achieve maximum results for Indochina region.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales targets, market share, revenue growth, etc.
- Regularly monitor distributor performance against these KPIs.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or other tracking tools to collect and analyze sales data.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with distributors to identify areas for improvement and success.
Market Assessment and Visibility:
- Continuously analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Gather data through market research, surveys, and customer feedback.
- Adjust marketing strategies and distribution channels based on market insights.
- Invest in marketing campaigns to enhance product visibility and brand awareness.
Support to Key Customers:
- Collaborate closely with distributors to provide timely and effective support to key customers.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
- Offer training programs or educational resources to key customers to maximize product utilization and satisfaction.
Compliance Management:
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Report any deviations or compliance issues to the appropriate regulatory authorities.
- Work closely with the Regulatory team to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions.
Pricing Matrix and Contract Negotiations:
- Develop a comprehensive pricing strategy aligned with reimbursement programs and market dynamics.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and adjustments as needed.
- Engage in contract negotiations with distributors and key customers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Monitor competitor pricing strategies and adjust pricing accordingly to remain competitive.
Strategic Vision and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop a long-term strategic plan for the assigned territories, considering market trends, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gain insights and align strategies across departments.
- Foster collaboration and communication among internal teams to drive collective success.
- Regularly review and update the strategic vision based on evolving business needs and market dynamics.
Business Growth and Expansion:
- Identify opportunities to expand the business within various healthcare markets.
- Explore new distribution channels and partnerships to reach untapped customer segments.
- Provide support and resources to distribution partners to foster business growth and market penetration.
- Continuously assess market demand and customer needs to adapt business strategies accordingly.
Experience requirements
- Proven track record in sales management or marketing roles.
- Experience leading teams to achieve sales targets and marketing objectives.
- Familiarity with the dynamics and regulations of the healthcare sector.
- Understanding of healthcare products, services, and distribution channels.
- Specific experience in managing sales and commercial operations in these regions.
- Knowledge of local market trends, customer preferences, and business practices.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and new challenges.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams toward common goals.
- Ability to communicate vision and inspire others to excel.
- It would be a plus if you also possess in IVD or medical devices field
