Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Job summary

Adecco's client is a leading financial institution with headquarter in Hanoi, is actively looking for a highly qualified and responsible candidates to fill in position Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Job Responsibilities

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

Technology Strategy Development

• Research and propose technology development strategies aligned with industry trends and business objectives.
• Develop long-term technology roadmaps to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CIO to evaluate and adopt new technologies.

Management and Implementation of Cutting-edge Technologies

• Propose and implement solutions based on AI/GenAI/ML/DL, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Big Data, RPA, and IoT, with an AI-first, Data-first, and Cloud-ready approach.
• Manage the integration of FinTech technologies and Open Banking. Build open API systems and optimize customer experiences through mobile apps, e-wallets, and digital banking.

System Development and Optimization:

• Design system architecture and integrate technology platforms on Cloud and Hybrid Cloud environments. Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Support the technical team in implementing CI/CD and DevOps solutions.
• Research and Technological Innovation
• Monitor technology trends and experiment with new solutions to drive innovation.
• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to build the digital banking ecosystem.

Leadership and Management

• Capable of leading and managing large or distributed technical teams, including recruitment, development, and retention of talent.
• Able to build an effective, creative, and collaborative working culture within the technology team.

Strategy and Financial Management

• Proficient in managing budgets and ensuring efficient spending on technology projects.
• Experience in presenting and defending technology strategies with partners, investors, or clients.

Experience requirements

• At least 7-10 years of experience in technology development and deployment within the banking, financial institutions, or FinTech companies.
• Experience leading or participating in large-scale technology projects, from ideation to practical implementation.
• Experience with technologies such as AI/ML, Blockchain, Cloud, RPA, Big Data, and API

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of system architecture and database management (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience in building and deploying Microservices models and API Gateway solutions.
• Proficient with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
• Understanding of the BackBase platform.
• Strong understanding of information security, including data encryption, IAM, and security monitoring systems.

Education requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
