Compliance Manager

Job summary

Our client, a large-scale furniture manufacturing company, is looking for Compliance Manager based in Binh Duong.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the factory complies with the standards, certifications, and regulations related to the plywood/ kitchen cabinet manufacturing industry.
• Act as a bridge between departments and external evaluation organizations to achieve certifications and maintain effective operations.
• Compliance and Certification:
  • Build and maintain a management system that meets standards such as FSC, EUDR, CARB, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.
  • Coordinate with departments to prepare for and successfully pass evaluations and inspections from certifying organizations.
  • Ensure production processes and activities comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
• Team Management:
  • Assign tasks, monitor, and evaluate the performance of team members in the Compliance team.
  • Promote team spirit and enhance employee skills.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on compliance status and certifications for the Board of Directors.
  • Propose improvement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Experience requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position preferably in the plywood/ kitchen cabinet manufacturing industry.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, CARB, EUDR, EN, etc.
• Ability to work at the factory and travel between locations if necessary.
• Work in an industrial production environment with strict safety standards.
• Preferably with certifications or training related to management or international standards.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
