Job Responsibilities

Components Quality Engineer is responsible for quality management of plastic parts, castings, injection molding, and stamping. Also, bridge the MDQE Team with new VN Suppliers remotely, and shorten the learning curve of new VN Suppliers (Quality & Speed)


As the Components Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Coach new supplier on quality management for Standards.
  • Align the inspection methods among MDQE/CM-IQC/Suppliers
  • Conduct audit process for MP products and new supplier evaluation.
  • Review gauge design and effectiveness of inspection gauge.
  • Implement new inspection techniques, reduce variation from appraisers.

Experience requirements

❖ Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Quality in network communication or consumer electronics products.
  • Familiar with mechanical parts IQC workflow and inspection tools.
  • Understanding of basic mechanics, material science, tooling and manufacturing.
  • Drive Suppliers on failure analysis, corrective action, and 8D reports.
  • Strong and ambitious personality with good communication skills
  • Flexible to travel among Supplier sites in Vietnam
  • Chinese communication at business level. Can do reporting in English.


❖ Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in plastic and metal of mechanical products.
  • Solid data analysis, data management, basic statistics and experimental design skills.
  • Certification of 6-sigma ISO-9001, Rohs, CQE, IATF16949 is plus.
  • Experience with Mechanical design on fixture/jig/gauge is preferable.
  • Industrial background with consumer electronic and IOT products are welcome.

Education requirements

  • BS in Engineering required (Mechanical/ IE/ Manufacturing is preferred)
