Country Security Manager

Job summary

Adecco's client is a world leading player in the logicstic industry is seeking for a Country Security Lead to drive security initiatives, manage risk, and safeguard operations across Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security standards, managing incidents, optimizing costs, and leading a dedicated security team.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Standards: Develop and implement country-specific security standards and policies, ensuring alignment with regional and global security frameworks.
• Incident Management: Manage, review, and investigate security-related incidents; report key metrics, trends, and root causes to senior management.
• Training & Audits: Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and deliver training programs to ensure compliance and elevate security awareness nationwide.
• Cost Management: Manage security budgets and Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, driving transparency and cost efficiency.
• Customer Value: Enhance customer satisfaction by improving security performance and positioning security as a competitive business advantage.

Key Accountabilities:

• Achieve security compliance standards through close cooperation with country management teams.
• Proactively reduce losses, incidents, and related claims through preventive measures and timely interventions.
• Identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring regular progress updates and corrective action reporting.
• Optimize resource utilization to maintain cost efficiency across all security operations.
• Deliver high service standards to ensure positive feedback from internal and external customers.

Stakeholder Management:

• Handle customer complaints related to security incidents, providing expert advice and support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, site management teams, and the sales organization to strengthen overall security support.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and develop a team of security professionals, ensuring adherence to all security policies and best practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, training, and professional development within the security team.

Experience requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in security management, with at least 1–2 years in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Preferably 2 years of experience or a strong understanding of security practices and regulations within Vietnam.
• Professional certification from recognized security bodies (e.g., Certified Protection Officer (CPO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, data analysis, and presentations.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and incident management tools.
• Fluent English skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred).
