Our client is one of the leading US Company in Feed Additives provider and looking for the Country Technical Sales Manager (CTSM) - Philippines.

Travel Requirement:

  • Frequent travel, accounting for approximately 30-40% of the role.

CTSM Responsibilities:

The CTSM is accountable for sales and business expansion within our client’s Preservation, Processing & Nutrition categories.

  • Provide technical support to existing clients and business partners.
  • Meet sales targets for designated territories.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic partner management, expansion within existing accounts, introduction of new products, acquisition of new customers, and account retention.
  • Monitor and address potential risks related to Accounts Receivable, alerting management to prevent delays and financial losses.
  • Enter new or high-potential species segments to diversify the business portfolio.
  • Gather and maintain a database of market intelligence, including competitor activity, product offerings, pricing trends, and market conditions.
  • Build strong relationships with key consultants in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading commercial business development and providing technical support for our client's solutions, with a focus on Poultry, Ruminant, and Aquaculture sectors in Vietnam.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business leads while maintaining close follow-ups on potential opportunities.
  • Executing strategies and tactics to achieve sales and financial objectives in alignment with the company’s group strategy.
  • Customizing nutritional and technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing marketing initiatives related to our client’s products within the assigned territory.
  • Strengthening the distribution network by securing new projects, signing contracts, and ensuring smooth contract execution.
  • Preparing and sharing daily activity reports, analyzing market potential, and assessing both existing customers and new prospects.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, distributors, and potential partners to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Providing training, coaching, and periodic support to strategic partners and their employees.

Key Performance Areas

1. Sales Achievement

  • The role requires achieving 100% of the assigned annual sales forecast, with progress monitored on a monthly basis.

2. Sales Growth

  • To drive sales expansion, the following strategies must be implemented:
  • Growing business within existing accounts.
  • Acquiring new customers.
  • Maintaining relationships with current accounts.
  • Developing and updating a comprehensive customer and prospect database, including production volumes, contacts, and potential product needs.
  • Assessing the total market potential by species and product category.
  • Providing a sales potential forecast for each customer.
  • Executing and tracking sales plans based on species-specific targets.

3. Accounts Receivable

  • Efficient management of accounts receivable includes:
  • Regular follow-ups to collect Letters of Credit (LCs) from importers and distributors as per agreed commercial terms.
  • Ensuring the secondary collection of payments from the market, while strategic partners distribute stock to end-users or sub-distributors.

4. Market Intelligence

  • To stay competitive, it is essential to:
  • Maintain a database of competitor information, including products and pricing.
  • Keep the company updated on market changes and emerging business opportunities.

5. Techno-Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Enhancing brand presence and market penetration involves:
  • Planning and executing targeted marketing activities to promote our client and its product range in the assigned territories.
  • Providing training and continuous knowledge updates to strategic partners and their sales teams.
  • Conducting field trials to demonstrate product efficacy to end customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the animal feed additive or premix industry.
  • A degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Medicine is preferred.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in English and local languages is required.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition/science or animal husbandry
